After deciding on the design and making a rough sketch of it, I outlined my drawings on to the fir boards for the sides and top. Then I cut them and stained them.

I did the same for the doors of the oven and microwave. For contrast, I decided to color the doors in black paint.

Then I made holes in the TROFAST frame to fit the sink, faucet and cooktop. To do this, I first used a drill to make a few holes along the cut line. Then I inserted the blade of my jigsaw into the holes and cut it out.

With the holes and cut lines sanded down, I installed the sink, faucet and cooktop in their place.

Next, for some hanging storage, I set the BYGEL rail under the TROFAST wall unit.

After that, I fixed the doors with hinges and magnets.

The last thing was to put the whole thing together. I assembled it with a little help.

Once assembled, I measured the size for the back panel and cut a piece of chipboard accordingly. I painted it white and then stuck the colorful patterned cement tile stickers on it.

When that is done, I set the panel at the back of the units.
