I hacked bunk beds for 3 from two Kura beds.

The cost was very minimal: two Kura beds and a few square meters of spruce boards … The colored LED lights (also IKEA) give the wow effect when the “city skyline” lights up in the evening!

    Great design. Would totally do this once my kids are a bit older. Very fun with the skyline and lighting.

    As I understand, they use upper bed as a day sofa. For the night bed it needs even two headboards, I think.

    Clever design!
    The upper bed needs a head board too, to sit up in the cushions and to protect things falling down on the stomages of the lower children.
