This is  a Lack Media Cabinet that was transformed into a apothecary  console!  Basically  applying wood strips over the laminate.  Ikea’s price tag with the appearance of rustic and vintage.

I have one of those! And after a major move from newish house in the US, to 100+ year old flat in Scotland, i was thinking it would end up being donated after another year or so being shuffled from room to room as more appropriate looking furniture was acquired. Its best chance of long term usefulness might have been organising a large closet. You have rescued it!

it looks great! Which shade of colour did you use? Is it stain or anything else?

  3. Nilzed, do it! You will not regret it! It has been one of my favorite makeovers.

Madam Rosmerta I did use a stain. I used Minwax Jacobean . I love it!
