Built-in for refrigerator

Materials: Perfekt Adel cover panels and rounded deco strip

I wanted to give the existing fridge a built in look on the cheap.

Built and mounted a frame to extend the upper cabinet out about 6″ to match the fridge depth.
Screwed an 88″x24″ Perfekt cover panel to wall
Mounted the upper cabinet (Akurum 36x24x24) to the frame
Attached left side Perfekt panel, filled gap at wall with additional cover panel
Used rounded deco strip to fill space left, right and above fridge (not shown)

Lack Side Table Closet

Any chance you know what the floor brand/color is? Trying to find new flooring that looks good with the same kitchen cabinetry as in this picture.

The flooring is ceramic tile, purchased from Lowes. Was a regular stock item, not a special order and not all that expensive. Has held up well and is great for hiding kitchen dirt, everyone thinks it’s wood.

How did you attach the cabinet to the refrigerator side panels? My fridge is on the end so one fridge panel fully exposed.

    • Meg says:

Ed, My fridge is on the end as well. We purchased a 3′x8′ cover panel (will need to cut down slightly to meet our measurements). Have been told by others that we will need to use l-brackets to attach the CP to the back wall and to the floor for stability. Also, this size CP is only available for a delivery, not in store.

I would probably just use some small right angle brackets on the inside and screw/glue them to the floor to keep the panel in place. The fridge will hide them if they are far enough back.

Amazing job. Just love it. I need to tackle a simular job in my office to try and hide the two storage freezers which don’t fit in the pantry. I think these photographs have really solved my problem! :)
