Quilted Rast Chest

Materials: Rast Chest, Rationell Glass Shelf

I purchased the Rast chest to use as my new night table. It’s just so plain, so I fancied it up a bit! I added moulding along the bottom to give it more of a “furniture” feel, and covered the surfaces with a quilted vinyl.

The edges received a coat of black paint. You can see step by step photos as well as more detail on my blog.

Hard to believe that little pine dresser can be so transformed – I’m impressed – well done!
