Ikea FNISS Wastebins form structural art





I could spot those bins a mile away…

This is certainly not my work – neither a Hack nor an Idea really – but a commissioned work of sculpture for Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria – International, and in particular, the current art and design exhibition “Melbourne Now”. https://www.ngv.vic.gov.au/melbournenow

The dome sits proudly in the front square inside the NGV and was being explored by many visitors the day I was there.

I have included the citation for the piece and it’s designer, Rory Hyde.
