Ikea FNISS Wastebins form structural art

I could spot those bins a mile away…

This is certainly not my work – neither a Hack nor an Idea really – but a commissioned work of sculpture for Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria – International, and in particular, the current art and design exhibition “Melbourne Now”.

The dome sits proudly in the front square inside the NGV and was being explored by many visitors the day I was there.

I have included the citation for the piece and it’s designer, Rory Hyde.
