Simple Microphone shock mount

Materials: ORDNING Cutlery stand and about 1 meter of shockcord (6mm)

I was able to build a cheap shock mount to reduce noise (cause by vibrations) from the desk and keyboard to the microphone.

About 1m. Use a clamp to hold it while you install the cord between the holes, not mutch stretch is required.

Just wondering, how tight is the shock cord? As in is 1 meter about fine or do you stretch it out a bit?

Be careful of the capsule getting too low into that cup, you could get some gnarly comb filtering. A cool trick would be to put some acoustical absorption foam inside the can to isolate the cap (if theres even enough room to do that).
