Instant colored wainscoating in 10 mins. No paint needed.

wainscoating

Materials: Sanela Panel, staple gun.

Description: I wanted to cover up the boring white wall under chair rail molding in a rented apt. Could have painted it but didn’t have the time to paint.

Got two IKEA Sanela Panels in grey. I hadn’t measured or anything. Thought it would be a good experiment.

They fit perfectly without any cutting. They had just the right stiffness and good texture like a grass cloth. I just got my staple gun and put them in position. 10 minutes later the room looked warmer, cozier and I was done!

This is a great idea! I just discovered this website via Feedly, and love it. If I may offer a suggestion, though.. (forgive me if this how things are normally done, and this particular post is just different), could you link to the product page for the items mentioned? Or at a minimum explain what the items are. It looks like this was a redder submitted item, so this would be a job for the editor then.

I found the link for this one, but it took me a bit of effort.

  2. Quick, easy, economic… and looking great ! I like it and I will give it a try :) THANKS
