Bench (easily) made from Lack table

Ikea Hack

Materials: Lack coffee table

Description: We wanted a small children’s bench for our upstairs hallway for our youngest daughter to sit when she gets dressed in the mornings. We could not just buy one because it had to be rather small: the Kids also have their swings up there and need the space.

We bought a small Lack table at 7,99 Euro, and my husband replaced the table top with a top made from wood he still had from another project, and also made a backrest.

It’s a very simple hack, but serves its purpose well.

We are not sure yet, what to do with the original table top, but will save it for another project.

Enjoy your day!

I love the bench but even more love that you have a swing in your hallway!

    • ;-) — yeah, it’s not meant to spent hours on end sitting there, but the quicker she gets dressed in the mornings, the better…

The swings are great, and the kids love them — best Ikea-buy ever!
