Gorm for a beach house gate

Materials: Gorm shelves

Description: For the safety of our grandson (2) who loves playing ball on the terrace, we needed a gate at the top of the stairs.

I used 3 Gorm shelves, 2 boards and two strap hinges and a door latch.
I drilled holes of different sizes through the wood and decided to call it “Champagne”.

Love, love, love it! Champagne indeed! I also like the idea of filling some holes with glass marbles but that would reduce its child safety. Maybe when your grandbaby is older? Well done.

Love the look, beats all the ugly childproof gates I see everywhere.. Especially the champagne bubbles, I think the 2 year old will have a blast looking through them too! Good job.

I love it! but what if you filed the holes with marbles?
