Low Lack attack TV stand

Materials: LILLANGEN leg frame x 2, Lack side table top x 2, Malm dressing table top

Description: This is an adaption of a previous Ikea hack we did.

Simply follow the same steps and place either a Malm dressing table top or a Lack wall shelf on-top and voila, it’s now a beautiful TV stand!

Anti-slip underlay can be put between the top and bottom pieces to ensure further stability, but I have had no problems so far.

Enjoy :)

I’m going to elaborate on it and put the malm dresser top under some 8″ capita legs to fit components on either side. love the hack!

I’d like to suggest a multi-tap extension cord (fused!) parked under the table to handle that mess of plugs. If only for safety.

    what a brilliant idea!

I have a whole wall of IKEA Billy bookcase/cd units, with a gap at the end that is crying out for another cd tower but space there ain’t, and my wife is often pleading with me to keep the music off the floor so it doesn’t get eaten by the vacuum cleaner…

you don’t need to know all that but you have inspired me. Thanks.
