Hacked IKEA bookshelf
Materials: EXPEDIT Door Hacks
Description: We added some nice raw wood doors to our EXPEDIT bookshelves which we stained to match our furniture, allowing us to display/hide books and objects as we wish. We also hacked a smaller EXPEDIT for a vinyl listening station.

ReplyDeletethis is very cool, awesome post, you have the power
DeleteVery nice article..
ReplyDeleteLooks cool. Not sure if you have magnet catches or what. I would consider drilling a small hole and adding some small leather handles or even go as simple as some short leather string about the width of a shoelace with a knot tied in it for a drawer pull.
ReplyDeleteNice! How do you made the doors? It's wood?
ReplyDeleteThis article needs a bit more explaining. Looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI agree - a more in depth explanation would be better.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, really well executed - love it! (and love the idea of leather door pulls)
All the images are good enough!
