Herrings

Painted herrings

Materials: Fixa paintbrushes

Description: Where I come from they smoke the baltic herring by hanging it by the eye, and it is called böckling. So this was what came to my mind when I saw our fish hanging to dry. Easy fish made from a set cheap paint brushes, from IKEA. We cut off the brush part and painted with acrylic paint, decorated with markers.

  3. Clever, but it's too bad all those good brushes were ruined to use for this . . . Just sayin' I'd feel better about it if they were all worn out, ready to be trashed brushes, that's all.
