New, elegant life for a DOMBÅS!

Materials: DOMBÅS, fabric, cotton ribbon, glue

Description: I liked the DOMBÅS closet for its size, but not the all-white color. My room is in greys and reddish-purple. I have decided to do something with the doors, below you can see the results.

I have bought a beautiful piece of grey cotton, with a delicate weave pattern of various shades of greys.

I glued it to the sides of the doors, then covered the sides with cotton ribbon which luckily was the same width.

See more of the DOMBÅS’ new doors.

Did you really need to attach the wardrobe to the wall?

  3. Thank you all for the comments!

I used a very simple white glue kind of glue, which dries clear. I covered only the sides, as I was afraid it wouldn’t be even anyway and the glue would have bled through it.

Looks great! What kind of glue do you use? Did you only glued the fabric on the side of the doors?
