    Don’t want to disappoint but this is a bad idea. Hanging a helmet this way will affect the rubber piece that seals the visor, making it not air-tight anymore. I’ve had this happen with an older helmet I’d used to hang like this.

    It is also a big no-no to put a helmet on a “spike”, like for instance the mirrors on your bicycle. The only way to store a helmet is by placing it on a flat surface.

    *LOL* I never knew the hangers were intended to be mounted horizontally. I use them vertically for my messenger bags.

    @Anonymous The helmet’s rubber gasket for the visor does not touch the hanger. Thanks for your opinion on the ONLY way to store a helmet though.

    Even though it seems to hook on there soundly, I wouldn’t hang my helmet this way either.

    Either flat, or hang it from its bag.

    I have no gasket crushing or any other issue …great idea for $5 for a pair…thanks Alex
