Bathroom business

Description: The modularity of Ikea’s office furniture makes it far more useful than the typical bathroom vanity cabinet. Cabinets and tops combined with Ikea Capita or Utby legs allow open shelf storage for out of sight but plugged in and ready to go hairdryers, curling irons, shavers etc.

I just love this (nordic? japanese?} modern and unpretentious look. No glitz, no glam, just really beautiful good design. Kudos! Pippa

I like the wood walls too, and am looking to achieve a similar japanese-modern style in the bathroom. Did you do the walls by yourself using laminate flooring from ikea? how did you do it? any issues?

I LOVE the styling of this bathroom. It’s warm and cool with the wood and white, both japanese and Norwegian with an hint of greyish blue for modernity. You have given me the idea to use some laminate flooring as wallcovering when I get around to doing my own bathroom. I also like the wall covered with one big mirror, reflecting and doubling the window.
Has your batroom withstood the water dampness yet? I would be afraid plywood like in the office meant Effectiv would need to be super sealed to be used in a bathroom environment.

Neat idea, though I would be concerned over the phantom load those items are drawing. Maybe hide a power strip as well.
