Sink on the Edland bedside table

Materials: Edland bedside table, sink, plumbing

Description: We have a bedroom and a bath in the same space. We wanted to make the most of a small space and stay within our tiny budget. I felt in love with Ikea Edland bedside table and find it just perfect for a boudoir-feel bathroom.I put 2 coats of clear satin waterproof stain on it to avoid water cased damage.
We cut a hole on the top of it,and put the sink on, attached a drain pipe, and had a plumber install the faucets. Voila!

See more of the Edland sink.

Is it hard to turn on the hot water? It looks like the valve is tucked into the corner behind the sink, making it hard to turn.

I was thinking the same thing about the access to the faucet handle, it looks a tad tight back there. But really just nitpicking – it came out really nicely. what kind of sink is it? Or is it an IKEA one I haven’t seen?

  6. Joie Vivre says:

The sink is from A home department store, Bricostore. On the picture it looks like turning the hot water is difficult but it isn’t.

  7. Katey Lady says:

I like it! Its like a modern ‘wash stand.’ I’ve been in love with the Edland line since it came out.

  8. Elixir says:

I would love to know more about the plumbing. Cost?

  9. Joie Vivre says:

The plumbing costed 10 000 HUF, it’s about 35 EUR
