excellent - love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks cool, but I think it would get knocked over way too often.
ReplyDeleteDoes it stand up straight? looks like it would get knocked over easily. But its cool!
ReplyDeleteHi,Dear
ReplyDeleteVery nice information about One legged lamp stand and very attractive lamp...............
Projector Lamp
very artistic.., the design was so brilliant and fashionable.., its suite to the modern houses today..,
ReplyDeleteElectromagnet????
ReplyDeleteGreat concept and design. I like the use of the green cord.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to fix the wall faceplate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments! I have thought of using magnets at the base, and steel plates to do a wall mount. At the moment, it's filled with some ball bearings at the base, so it's about as stable as it can be, I think.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should mount it on a flat piece of something to keep it from ever tipping.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should get a different cord color. The lime green is a tad bit distracting.
ReplyDeletePlease, please get a cover for the outlet. 60 cent can save you from electric shock. oh and nice lamp. 8)
ReplyDeletelove the black and green! very Memphis
ReplyDeleteActually. To be more convenient, why not just tape a fork to the wall right next to the electric socket? As it is right, now it's still too safe for kids.
ReplyDeletewrapping the extension cord like that can cause it to heat up and maybe Catch Fire...
ReplyDeleteI'd be "shocked" if Charles is going to update us on the face situation.
ReplyDeleteThough this is a beautiful lamp, it is still a risky hack to do. You're creating a electromagnet. I don't know where you're living, but it would be illegal in EU.
ReplyDeleteOh man this is an interesting idea. I wondered about these lack tables what they should be good for after their life - very interesting idea.
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell what kind of bulb and cover is that? Or what is going on there?
ReplyDeletei was gonna say make it retractable but it dosent seem to have the best balance
ReplyDeleteI gotta say, I like the outlet uncovered. I usually like seeing what people do with light witch and outlet covers, but this is fresh. Without kids, this works with the motif.
ReplyDelete@Anders, very good observation. This is an extremely dangerous hack. AFHH.
