art up your malma mirror

great looking frames from nici using the malma mirror.

"i am sure i am not the first to art up these plain ol' pine mirrors but a little decoupage of cool papers, shimmery paints, feathers, glass micro beads ... makes them a lot more interesting!"

  1. Toronto artist Melsky also often paints these mirrors. I really like her work. Here's one example.

  2. I used my mirror as a frame for a tiny piece of art that fit perfectly in the middle. With a sturdy glue and some wedging into cracks it seems secure to me! I added a tacked picture hanger to the back so it can be hung on the wall.
