cute draft stopper

with you people freezing your behinds off, this is timely. not a hack but this, sent in by angorian, was too cute to pass up. did you know that the ikea snake (i'm not sure what it's called and i can't find the link on ikea's site) makes an excellent draft stopper?

  2. The snake is an old IKEA toy. They discontinued it. My brother is 8 and he had it in his nursery.

  3. wasn't this snake even originally advertised as draft stopper? i'm sure ikea still has longish animals advertised as draft-stoppers, at least here in europe

  4. The snake was called "giftig" in Germany, which means poisenous in german. Unfortunately it is out of production since 5 years :-(

  7. Djungelorm was another snake, in many fluo colors. unfortunately it seems to be discontinued too.

    Currently they have a dragon (minnen drake) that could work in the same position.

  9. this was always a draft stopper, ikea have done a range of soft animals for draft stoppers for ages
