I purchased an IKEA Variera shelf insert and assembled it according to the instructions. I attached a perch, wrapped the bottom of the stem with sisal twine. On the other side, I attached extra bowls that I had. I covered the screws in the “top” of the insert with pieces of a cork coaster so they don’t scratch my tables.
This perch lets me keep my birds on my desk while I work. I don’t have to worry about a mess due to the paper in the tray.
