IKEA RUNNEN floor decking tiles

Looking for suggestion on how to transition my IKEA RUNNEN outdoor floor tiles to the deck below it.  The RUNNEN sits about 1 inch high and we keep catching our feet on it as we walk onto the tiled area.

Anyone got a hack suggestion?

  2. OMG! Looking for same thing! Found rubber transition strip from Lowe’s. Not sure if the edge will be high enough though:(

  3. Transition strip, they’re for indoor flooring but should work outdoors . Not sure about attaching them to the tiles and such, but worth looking into.

  4. A rubber threshold ramp such as this (typically designed for mobility scooters etc, so hard wearing! Can probably be painted/covered too?): ~ Dan Walker
