Materials: NUMERAR
Description: I wanted to achieve a white-washed look on my wooden counter tops, and I also wanted them to be waterproofed so they’d last longer.
To get the look, I bought the Numerar wooden counter tops (in birch). I cut them to size, sanded them, stained them with a water-based whitewash stain, and then sealed them with a water proof sealant called Aquaspar (3 coats on all sides).
So far, they’re holding up well and they look great! I think they look a lot higher end than a laminate counter top, but they were still so reasonably priced.
