I Take My Coffee Table, Lack

Materials: 4 LACK Wall shelves (black-brown) – Length: 43 1/4 ” ($80), LACK Side table, black-brown (4 Legs only) – $10, 4 casters (Optional) $5, 6 metal mending Plates, $9, 16 Mini L Brackets, about $24, Screws, Drill Bit set, Power Drill.

Description: Inspired by the now discontinued West Elm Parsons Storage Coffee Table I attempted to duplicate the look using Ikea products.

Step 1: Making the top and bottom tiers of the coffee table – Position 2 of the Lack Shelves back to back on the long end (the end that will be screwed into the wall) and screw the mending plates onto the underside of the now ajoined shelves so they are held together, creating one large surface area (This will be the coffee table top). Do the same to the other 2 Lack Shelves. (This will be the lower tier of the coffee table).

Step 2: Next, attach the legs of the Lack Side Table to the top of the Lack Shelf/bottom tier using the mini L brackets.

Step 3: Attach the top tier (made out of the 2 connected Lack Shelves)to the tops of the legs of the Lack Side Table using the mini L brackets.

Now you’re all done and have a very similar coffee table to the West Elm Parsons Storage Coffee Table at less than half the price.
