Mobile TROFAST for art supply storage

I needed a storing system for my painting utilities, paints, brushes etc. Preferably one I could move around. I was thinking to build one from scratch. Then I ran into this IKEA TROFAST. It looked great for what I had in mind. I bought a new one at IKEA. I wanted to build a door with shelves where I could store my brushes. So I found a used TROFAST which I could saw into pieces and rebuilt it as a door. Then I attached wheels under the TROFAST and the door itself.

Wow. That looks amazing!! Could you explain how you secured the casters to the underside of the Trofast? The bottom is not flat so I’m curious how to add casters in a safe way. Thanks!!

I would love this for my sewing room to hold all my materials, trims, threads, and patterns. I’d need several units. Putting doors on them is a great idea.
