IKEA LACK TV unit transformation

IKEA LACK TV unit transformation | IKEA Hackers

Hi, I’m from Germany and now I present to you my first IKEA hack of a LACK TV bench!

Things you need:

1 LACK TV unit

2 packages (4 pieces) EKBY BJÄRNUM (legs)

Liquid nails/wood glue

Plywood

Teak paint (Lasur) for the plywood
And this is how you do it:

1. Remove old Lack legs

2. Paint the cut plywood

3. After the paint has dried, start gluing the bottom wood (where later the legs will be), then the left and right side. Lastly the top piece of wood.

4. Attention, be sure the plywood is fixed to the Lack while drying!

I love Ikea. They have so many great products that it’s hard to settle on one design choice. This one is really interesting.
