Nisse folding chair turned to cord chair


Materials: clips, drill, Nisse folding chair, washing line

Had this broken Nisse chair from which I removed the plastic seat and back, and kept the frame. Removing the back was a bit more difficult; I used the drill to break the fixed screws open. I went for a turquoise washing line (first version was in red), and wove it around in patterns using different spacing.


Used clips to hold the cord together while working and drilled small holes on the back of the frame to fasten the ends of the cord. More on this chair here:

    Help! We purchased an office desk and chair at IKEA, but did not purchase the assembly package that came with the purchase. Now we wish we did. If you could put us in contact with a third party assembler, we would greatly appreciate it.
