Hex Key Maze Picture

Materials: NORRLIDA frame, various IKEA hex keys, glue

Description: So we had tons of hex keys of every kind after furnishing our new apartment with IKEA products. I didn’t want to throw them away, so as a minor hack, I created this picture. 1. Remove the glass from the frame. 2. Glue the keys to the white side of the mat. 3. Done. (Of course, the hardest part is to find the right layout of the keys. I can’t provide any instructions about that since everyone has different sets of leftover keys.)

I love this! It’s also great that you can actually complete the maze. I thought you might have meant it was maze-inspired. Impressive!

    Love the minimal look too.

  3. This is such a great idea. I’d love to do artwork with leftover hex keys as well as random hardware I have laying around. Thanks for sharing!
