The bookcase / shelves arrangement is very pretty, but I can’t believe very strong. With 3 or 4 randomly spaced brackets per level, however, it could be very sturdy and still quite attractive.

    Very Scandinavian – nice!

I love the candleholders as legs on the kitchen. That is brilliant. And the Mondrian feel of the red/white drawers.

  4. Margaret says:

I love the bookcase. I think it could be strong enough because the scale is pretty small, maybe 48″W x 40″H. A large version would look amazing but would probably be pretty shaky.

    I love this design!

But if you go to the original website and look closely at the pictures you will see that this isn’t real, but rather computer generated imagery. So I wonder if it would be strong enough to actually maintain any rigidity at all. I suspect that even a small bookcase of this design would be all wobbly.

Which is a shame, because the design is lovely.

The bookcase is made of wall brackets painted different colors. I would imagine that you are supposed to fasten the rear brackets to a wall. I think that would make this a fairly sturdy shelf.
