Trofast sand and water table

Materials: Trofast

Description: Cut out holes for the small Trofast bowls. Smaller so they won’t fall through.

Paint to protect for outside use, use acrylic paint since the Trofast cabinet is already in acrylic.

Drop the bowls in and fill with water and/or sand.

The large bowls in the cabinet are ideal for storing all the sandbox toys!

I’ve been thinking about making a sand table. I’m looking to do a few things differently, such as using a container that fully closes, to keep the sand dry,and we’ll need something larger for two kids. I had been thinking of ways to attach the container to the top of the table, but I love this idea of cutting a hole to put it down into it. Thanks for the inspiration!

My mother made a cover out of tent fabric a few days ago to keep it dry, but I also slide the containers with sand inside the cabinet after use.
