Because nothing says Christmas like a ceiling fire.

Awesome! Why didn’t I think of that?

Nice idea… but whenever I see people put lit candles on suspended furniture I just freak the fuck out-

  3. This is so cute. I love it. It looks awesome and honestly, any time one lights candles one should really stay in the room with them. So long as that rule is being observed, there is no more danger with these candles than ones placed on the table. Nice job.

Because when you’re going to leave the room for a few minutes the thing you def want to be doing is climbing up on a stool or chair to extinguish 4 or 5 candles…

    • Here is a simple solution for you: don’t do this hack in your house. Or if you do, don’t put candles on there if you are too lazy to get up a step ladder and snuff them out. I think this is a great hack and your comments are not constructive, they are purposely inimical.

Well… I know they don’t provide the authentic candlelight flicker, but if someone absolutely has to have this and intends to put candles up there, why not use the flameless flickering LED candles? We are using a ton of them for our wedding, work pretty great.

    Wow very nice! :)

For all the paranoid posters, you can always get those snazzy battery powered candles… they give off such a realistic ambience or maybe keep it a suitable distance from the ceiling?? Just a thought…

I like the idea for seasonal decor combined with lighting! I could see many neat chandelier ideas incorporated with this. Good job.
