Luxury dining seat

Materials: Besta TV bench

Description: We needed to fit 240 cm seat in our space in dining room, but couldn’t find anything nice.

So we bought a 240 cm long Besta TV storage combination + old kids mattress and luxury fabric. Our friend made 2 upholstered pieces for us and put all together. We are very happy with result and take a lot of compliments :-)

    Hi Alicia,
    I got few questions
Do you place the MDF only on the surface of the Besta? To distribute the body weight? What is the thickness of the MDF?
Do you think this hack will be reliable if we add Besta legs?

I’ve discovered a blog entry about that clock (google images => design wall clock). It said that the clock is out of stock. But there are many alternatives :)

That’s a nice hack indeed, looks superb.

There’s so many substitutions you can make to produce furniture just as amazing, if not better, with very little-no compromise… just need to get a little creative sometimes.

Very nice!! It’s blend in really well with the room and I like your wall clock!

But to be honest, you’re missing one thing, you’ll need to put a sheet of MDF or wood board as BESTA units are hollow and may not able to withstand body weight :)

One more compliment from me :)
