Take part in the OddJob tool giveaway!

Happy weekend!
I've just reviewed the OddJob tool by Crescent. It's a compact 11-in-1 tool that is pretty handy to have around the house. Great for quick fixes, like tightening a wobbly IKEA stool (it has a hex bit), hammering in a nail and other minor touch-ups.

Cresent is giving away a set of the OddJob tool to a lucky reader too. You can read my full review and take part in the giveaway here.

  1. I would really appreciate it if give aways didn't depend on an FB account..not interested, and kinda disappointed that this blog, like so many others, is becoming increasingly commercialized...guess I'll be getting my hack ideas elsewhere in the future...

  2. Jules,

I like the tool fine. I don't mind the occasional commercial giveaway either. What I don't like is coming to this site only to read that I have to go to another site to finish reading. Arrgh... I can't stand FB's annoyingly cluttered and juvenile look. Got rid of my FB a long time ago. Hallelujah...
Your blog is great Jules, please keep it as is.

  3. Hi Wendi and Anonymous, the only reason I have to use FB to run the giveaway is because I don't collect emails on this blog and would have no way to contact the winner. FB makes that possible.

    1. Great website and blogs Jules! I agree with Wendi and Anonymous. There are other free services you can utilize in the future to allow your readers to register their email and contact information if they want take part in future giveaway rather than FB. There is NO privacy at all with a FB account!

  4. YUP I agree with Wendi and Anonymous. It took me months to get rid of FB. Many sites that run contest now have it so you can sign up for contest just using your e-mail account. Please try to do that?
Love this site I have it RSS to my e-mail I use for hobby stuff.

  5. It's not clear which post you're supposed to reply to to win. On the FB feed there's one which links back to this post and one which leads back to the jules.ikeahackers review. They both have a lot of replies, so it's obvious I'm not the only one who is confused.

    1. Yes I realised that there is a little confusion. I will take into account all comments on both FB posts. So no worries.
