EKBY MOSSBY wine rack

Materials: EKBY MOSSBY, EKBY BJARNUM, thunder group 10″ chrome wire glass rack

Description: I needed a wine rack, but since I live in an apartment I had no room for a standing bar. All the hacks were of standalone bars or under cabinets and my cabinets were too low to hang wine glasses. And everything online was either too small or very pricey.

So I purchased a Ekby Mossby, held it up with the Ekby Bjarnum brackets and drilled in 10 chrome wine glass wire hangers. As you can see in the picture it fits my wall perfectly. Enjoy.

You say you have used 10 wire hangers, but I count only 9. Was it 10 or 9? As the website that sells these wire hangers doesnt specify its width

Love the design of this…but again I’m curious about the material details. According to the Ikea web site the Ekby Mossby is a 19cm deep shelf…so how are you able to attach 10″ Thunder Group glass hangers to that?

I like this very much! Tried to do this at home, but….. Where did you purchase the wire hangers? I’ve looked everywhere on the internet. In the Netherlands, Ikea does not sell wire hangers fitting an Ekby shelf!

And has room above for a case of tequila
