A Lack booth worthy to be displayed

Materials: Lack tables

Description: This in not my own hack, but probably funny enough to be posted on Ikeahackers.

I always thought, fair stands are extremely expensive and all and every time is made only made for the one customer.

On the Photokina trade in Cologne, I’ve seen this well locking booth, mainly done out of Lack Tables.

I thought it’s worth to be shared here.

Thanks for sharing this. I really like the look of it. It’s a good inspiration hack too. I could see using this to inspire a hack for home and/or increasing the spacing to display/store things between the tables too … sparingly though so it doesn’t loose the simple, modern look. Anyway, I like it and definitely think it was worth sharing on here. Thanks.

Ten times 10€ for one pile. Not extremely cheap, but should be way below what booth building companies charge for such an object.

In Germany the Lack table regularly costs 5€ per piece. And sometimes there are special offers on it, then 4€. So seems to be quite okay in my opinion.

i can’t see how they are held together and i’m sure the top glass/plexi bit is the most expensive ..

  5. I love it! I’ve been looking for a pedestal display that looked good and was cheap. Since we already use a lot of Ikea products in our store this will also blend much better than a catalog display. Thanks for posting!

We have a small business and when we go to trade shows, our booth is made up of expedits, and lack tables, with a couple ikea work tables thrown in. Everything comes apart quickly, and the colours always match. Plus if anything ever gets damaged, the replacement cost isn’t huge.
