Hackea: KLUDD for kitchen sink

Materials: KLUDD 2x

Description: a cover for the wall behind the kitchen sink was missing.
so we have put two Kludds on the wall and they really do a good job there.
and it was much cheaper than a customized glass tile from the glazier.

See more of the Kludd backsplash.

looks nice, certainly a cost concious solution. well done

  2. because usually KLUDD is a memoboard and not a backspash. it’s a mini-hack. :)

Sorry, but how is this a hack?

It looks nice but a glass backsplash like this is a bitch to keep clean. You would have to wipe every time water gets on it or you’d get water stain constantly.

Seems like water and grime could build up behind the glass panels

    • grime yes – water no. because there is almost no space between the glass and the edge of the sink board. but because no silicone was used i can remove them from time to time and clean them easily.

Do you need to attach the Kludds to the wall? If so, what would you use?

Very cool, looks easy to clean!

did you silicone it in between the two and around preventing water to get behind
