Materials: Ikea Expedit shelving unit, black contact paper, red and white electrical tape
Description: I was planning to buy a white Brio stove
for my daughter but couldn't find a place for it in her room. One day I was organizing her bookshelf when the idea struck me: I could turn the shelf into a stove by using some contact paper leftovers. My daughter has been cooking all sorts of tasty soups and stews ever since.

ReplyDeleteMy brain took this idea and immediately jumped to turning a door insert around and messing with the door to make an oven. My gal likes to play with knobs, so swapping in knobs that turned would be really easy. Then add a couple door inserts and some extra half-shelves to make a fridge/freezer next to it. Maybe some magnetic paint for fridge magnets...
