Lack Table Hack for the Wall

Materials: Lack end tables and Lack shelves

Description: We wanted to create an entertainment center look without purchasing the huge piece of furniture. Inspired by this IKEA Hackers post we decided to pick up a bunch of Lack tables and attach the tops to our brick wall. The black brown color already matched our IKEA media center and leaving space in between each row left room for a couple Lack shelves (also in black-brown) that we are still brainstorming arrangements for!

  1. It seems a little unbalanced. Wonder what it would be like if you took the bottom square and put it above the TV? I see your problem with the oulet.
Wonder also if roughing up the shelves and making them like barnboard would complement the rustic brick.

  2. Innovation of home furniture became faster and higher. Higher in terms of technological related matters.

  3. It does seem off kilter, not because it isn't symmetrical but because of the cabinet underneath. You should put legs on the bottom of the cabinet so the top of it lines up with the pieces on the wall.

Also that is an absolutely beautiful home, I am so jealous.
