Gorm for a beach house gate

Materials: Gorm shelves

Description: For the safety of our grandson (2) who loves playing ball on the terrace, we needed a gate at the top of the stairs.

I used 3 Gorm shelves, 2 boards and two strap hinges and a door latch.
I drilled holes of different sizes through the wood and decided to call it "Champagne".

  4. Love the look, beats all the ugly childproof gates I see everywhere.. Especially the champagne bubbles, I think the 2 year old will have a blast looking through them too! Good job.

  6. Love, love, love it! Champagne indeed! I also like the idea of filling some holes with glass marbles but that would reduce its child safety. Maybe when your grandbaby is older? Well done.
