Better Besta Jagra TV Stand


Materials: Besta Jagra TV stand, doors, hinges

Description: I was looking for a TV stand, so I went to check out my options in the Ikea As-Is section. I found a Besta Jagra TV stand with the drawers missing, and just the middle shelf, with nothing to hide the electronics inside. I looked around some more and found some nice gloss black patterned doors (I think they're Besta, maybe Effectiv) that are the perfect size to fit 3 across the front of the TV stand. I attached them with hinges to the underside of the top of the TV stand before finishing the assembly.

  1. There's a pretty cool planner app on Ikea's site that allows you to build your own Besta unit. It's nice because you can see all of the options at a glance visually. Planning on getting something very similar.
