Jeff Chairs a la M(IA)ondrian
Materials: 2 x white Jeff foldable chairs + various spray paints/acrylic paint + masking tape
Description: Taking two plain and simple foldable Jeff chairs we had sitting in the garage, we decided they could do with a splash of colour!
My first intention was to add a simple Mondrian style pattern. After laying out the pattern in masking tape, the blocks of colour were sprayed.
The second chair was hand painted with acrylic paints. The style was more original, and freer; influenced by MIA album artwork.
Made for a fun afternoon for two architecture students!

Easy & fun: that's why it's a great idea.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Mondrian would never have sprayed his chair with orange and green.
He would have if he had been Irish :-).
