Handpainted Update
Materials: IKEA Coffee Table
Description: I had this coffee table from IKEA, which has nice clean lines to it - but I wanted to do some thing exciting to it - a herringbone pattern with paint markers.
I used silver and gold metallic paint markers for this. And I have drawn them freehand for an organic feel.

Hoooly shit I can't imagine how long this took, but it's gorgeous. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteLike! My reaction too.
DeleteThat looks beautiful. I would have gone insane drawing all those lines.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't take that long actually. They were freely drawn to give an organic look.
ReplyDeleteI woulda had to make shorter lines in order to keep it looking right, because I surely woulda messed up and then had to change the design! It's nice, so Good Job!
