PAX door as a picture frame and window
Materials: PAX wardrobe door
Description: I got a PAX door in AS-IS for $10. I needed natural light in my kitchen, so I removed the drywall at 1" less than the door size to find the best place for my window. There was only on passible, so I used art tape to fill the other windows with watercolor paper. I glued the door to the wall using liquid nails and used the clips you get with the kitchen cabinet crown molding to secure the door while glue dried. I placed a glass picture frame on the kitchen side.

More pics would be nice. Dont understand how you can add pictures to the empty "frames" if the whole door is glued to the wall
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing idea! like hans said, i would suggest a "hanging construction" too - to have better access to the backside.
ReplyDeleteI have those paxdoors too and you can see through the glass when the object behind is close to it.
