RIBBA Digital Photo Frame
Materials: RIBBA photo frame, old digital photo frame, screwdriver, sticky tape
Description: I had an old, ugly digital photo frame lying around - It surely wasn't cheap and had been given to me as a present. But it was just too ugly to have it in my living room. Time to change that.
- Rip out the inner display and controllers from the digital frame
- use some sticky tape to place it on the RIBBA passepartout
- throw everything into the RIBBA frame
- Done
It's as easy as this and it just looks so much better now.
Do NOT forget to clean the frame's glass before assembling everything ;)

I also have opne of those hideous things :/ Godd idea, I might use this! :)
ReplyDeleteI always wonder why digital frames are so ugly. So this is a great hack!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to take photos from the back ... Just use some thick paper or the original RIBBA inlay an cut little holes in it if you have buttons on the back of the controller board - that's what I did. Also, if your display doesn't fit the passepartout, you can easily just cut some thick white paper and use that.
