Materials: TRONDHEIM chest, VIKA AMON table top, LACK wall shelf, BYGEL rail, BYGEL S-hooks
Description: Being a fan of Ikeahackers, we made our first hack in our son's bedroom. We were not able to find a station to our liking so we combined some hacks we found on this website to create our one.
We took the TRONDHEIM chest and assembled it with a VIKA AMON table top which we painted orange to match the rest of his room. Above the changing table we put a LACK shelf with a BYGEL rails under the shelf. We completed it with the plastic hooks to accommodate us while we are changing our son.
He just turned on Christmas day and up till now we still love it. It tasted like more hacks. I'll post those later.

Hi! loved it! What type of paint did you use to ensure it won't come off? Also, where did you buy the wall stickers? We have been looking for funny "fish" ones without sucess!
ReplyDeleteHi Irene, thanks for the compliment. We used a "high adhesion" primer. It's designed for use on plastics and other surfaces and this will create a nice smooth surface for paint to adhere. And after we used an acrylic paint in orange.
DeleteThe wall stickers are from http://www.kleurmijninterieur.nl A webshop in the Netherlands. They are from Caselio. I was so happy when I found them! We are still looking for the perfect lamp though...
