Hi, I was curious if the legs were made of solid wood. I would like to cut the legs in half but not all the way off as I just need to make it shorter so I can turn it into a changing table/dresser for a nursery. Not sure if this is going to be possible.

Yes, that is possible. We did the same with the same purpose.
The Hemnes was to tall for us so we cut 10 cm from the legs.

What tool did you use to cut the legs? I bought white hemnes 8 drawer chest and it’s not solid wood like other colored ones. I’m wondering if this would make a difference.

  3. No, I didn’t. I bought custom-made by a glazier

Did you buy the glass top at Ikea? I really really like the look of that.

Somehow adding that glass top makes it so much classier/expensive
