Zorb Light

Materials: Regolit Pendant

Description: Previously we had coffee filters on a Melodi lamp shade. Now, here is one on the paper shade, Regolit, by Jane from Modern Jane. Love the giant orb. Even better when illuminated.

See more of the coffee filter pendant.

I bought the lamp and the white coffee filters and was so excited to make my lamp BUT when I fold the filters like in the description they do not get frills. Any idea why?

I love it! I really want one of the massive barrel lampshade fixtures to hang in our living room. We have massive ceilings, 12 feet I think, I know it dwarfs my 6′ ladder.

Thanks so much for the feature! We are loving it in our living room!

  5. I have this pinned, and it’s on my project list for the new year… the questions is, will I do it? ;-)

I think the scale is way off for the size of the room. A smaller version that wouldn’t be so massive would be more effective. Great job with all the time it took though!

I looked at the link- but still can’t quite see how it was done. Any close ups of the bits you stuck on or the process of sticking them on would be great.
