Living Room Rationell/Akurum bookshelves

Materials: Rationell/Akurum wall cabinet frame & coloured or glass doors

Description: See the pictures… how I built up my 4m high bookshelf with Akurum wall cabinet frames.

It was very funny and i get some questions from the IKEA staff when I first bought just 25 empty wall frames ;-)

  1. You’ve got a nice wall. The color white complements well with your red sofa. I love the idea of putting dividers on the right side of the wall.

This looks great! It looks like it’s made of the single door units, but if so then what are the short units at the top? I can’t find any that are the same width as the single units.

Why is this room so high? You can’t even have a look outside as the windows are placed very high too… this is weird =) …but the shelf looks pretty nice though!

What a great idea!! Definitely a great way to utilize space in homes with high ceilings. This would look great in a kitchen wall for cookbooks, magazines and recipe display
