  1. The little one wants a kitchen, but we didn't want to have the huge plastic kind to clutter everything up. this is an absolutely brilliant idea.

  2. Would onl take a sec to add actual turning knobs from the hardware store, or a fax "sink" with a shallow plastic dish stuck to the top.

  4. Leaving the top flat allows for play space for other things. Also, what a way to stimulate the child's imagination, having to visualize running water, turning knobs and such. Well done.

  6. Take a Lowe's kids room three piece kitchen set and put Ikea trofast drawers with lids. Play kitchen and toy storage together.

  7. This is incredible! I'd probably put a Trofast wall storage unit over it with a rod and colorful curtains for "kitchen cabinets." What I'd LOVE to see are instructions for taking a taller Trofast cabinet and making it a play fridge, even better if someone worked out what kitchen cabinet doors could be readily attached to the front of one so I could trawl through the As-Is section for it.
