Besta Media Center


Materials: Besta

Description: This hack was in response to the undesirable look of the Besta tv cabinets. I built a frame out of 1x4 pine, painted it to match the brown Besta units, then mounted doors as cover panels. Even though my current TV would have fit in the normal Besta cabinet (40" Samsung), I like the look of this a whole lot more. If I had wanted a bigger TV, I could have done 3 doors as panels instead.

  1. I guess I'm not to clear on what you did here--any in-progress pictures you can share, or details of it with the doors open, so we can see what you did? It looks great--that's why I'm asking.... Thanks!
